Bob,
Yes I was at the F800GS Press Launch last Wednesday in Durban, South Africa. I went down there with the North American writers (seven of us) early and did a modified tour for a few days to get over the jet lag, then we went to the press launch. I rode one almost 200 miles on pavement and dirt. Look for a complete review in the April issue of the BMW Owners News. I did speak with Bruce about bringing a projector and some photos to the next meeting but as of now this is unconfirmed. |

So, what are your impressions of this new model? After 1,200 miles you should have a pretty good experience one way or the other. Would be great to show up
at the meeting (2/24??) with some pictures and a projector.
