The tickets went on sale Monday. I jumped in and bought (2) reserved seats in the SW Vista. $125 each. These tix are good for entry for 3 days practice,
qualifiing and race day Sunday. I found a Holiday Inn about 10 miles out of town in Greenwood for $125 per night, tax included. Most hotels nearby are
selling out very quick and some are asking for 3 nights min at $159 each. Ouch!

This being my very first GP I am already excited and looking forward to the race. Of course the ride out and back should be fun. I am travelling with my long time friend that introduced me to motorcycle touring. He is on a FJR1300. By then I would expect his bike to be over 100K miles. The only service is a new set of plugs every 25K. Oil & tires too of course, but that is it. Oh yes, we did replace his radiator last summer at the RA rally in Asheville, due to a deer collision.
