Well, It is time to wrap up last weekends Shoot & Scoot event. We had (23) people Sunday taking the class and shooting off rounds in the pistol range. We
had 3 or 4 members actually bring their long guns for the trap field on their bikes. A true Scoot & Shoot.
We had 5 tents and 1 hammock camping out Saturday night. No bugs, sweet spot right near the ponds. We even had John pitch his tent on the island. And they say no man is an island! Supper was cooked perfectly by Craig C, Thanks Craig.
We had a potential new member show up and camp with us, Adam. He has the making of a YB, smart but broke! Maybe not broke but frugal is the word. A true YB. Why spend money on a tent if all you need is two trees and a hammock.
Roy brought the coolest guns I have ever seen. We were hitting a 2" circle at 250 yards. WOW.
Eric brought a AR semi auto. To hear those shots ring out rapid fire will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck.
I do not think I hurt anyone with my cooking Sunday lunch.
We only had one mishap. And no guns or booze was involved. Only a bike blinker.
So, overall I would have to say we had successful weekend for those that participated. I want to formally thank Roy B & Craig C for putting on the class and the YB members for coming out and bringing and sharing their hardware.
