Just an observation.
Three of the people if not more in the photo above are former YB's who now make it their point to bash all things YB whenever they can. |

Rob, I ride with this bunch quite a lot and Yes, some have their opinions, gripes, views, and whatnot but I would not call it "bashing" so much
because it's never vindictive. It's harmless chin-waging. I just smile, nod, and change the subject. People have the freedom to say whatever they like
but that doesn't hurt the organization. A 'club' exists in the minds of its members. Not a member? Then the 'club' doesn't exist for
you.
We should be happy for them and celebrate their adventure -- someone almost died on this trip. Their stories are amazing. I'm helping them put together a slide presentation to share at our next meeting. After that one I'd like to do my own dog & pony show about New Mexico & AZ ghost towns, and after that, we'll look at Baja, California trip done by some new members. And after that... more to follow. You see, you really did open the Pandora's box last Sunday. It's all your fault!

I for one could care less about anybody "bashing all things YB" because as Victa stated their views change my involvement and enjoyment of YB not one
iota. Being a member of many different types of groups (cars, motorcycles, lawyers, guns, etc.) the following observation holds universally true: 10% of any
club does all the work, 50% or less of the members actually participate in most events, and at least 10% belong just to complain about everything the 10% who
actually do the work are doing while never actually doing anything themselves. Eventually the last group takes offense at some preceived slight and leave in a
huff to some other group. But the slide show looks fantastic and I for one would love to see it.
