i dont want a cheap and nasty one, and at the same time i do not want to spend my kids college fund .
Do you have any suggestions,i think i would prefer air/hydraulic (instead of manual pump).
Or is someone ready to upgrade?.

The only problem with these lifts is that they take a fair amount of room. It's not like you can stand it up against the wall. You need 4 x 10 feet
available to be tied up all the time. If I had a really nice workshop I would buy one but I don't have room.

phil i have a foot pump model that could be switched over to air over hydraulic. it was relatively inexpensive and is pretty well made. from northern tool
it is a great life if you don't weaken.

I remember seeing a post where someone recessed the entire lift into his garage floor so he could drive right over it with the car. It looked like a little
bit of work but then when it's not being used it's out of the way. It might have been on the bmwsporttouring.com web site but i'm not sure. It
was definitely a cool set up.

A bit of a hint........If you do decide to build your lift into your garage floor, purchase the Bill Smith "Hi Rise 1500" which lifts about 10"
higher than any other lift. You will lose 10" of height with the lift being in the garage slab..............
I also highly recommend the Bill Smith "Black Jack" 1000 scissor jack to slip under the bike when you want to remove both front and rear wheels at the same time. For $79 you get a real nice thin scissor jack that ends up coming in handy all over the shop.........
