I had a 650GS...and would highly recommend that model... I know it doesn't get a ton of respect in the big jugg BMW machoman circles... but it is light. reliable, great on gas and reasonably priced for what you get. A lowered GS might be much easier to buy...and in the long run it will be much easier to sell too....
