I would think that it is not the size of the shot that matters.
It is the fact that shot is there!

Actually, the smaller the shot size, the more you can put into the bars and the denser it can be.
I used #7 because that's what I have .

Actually, next time I do it, I'm going to pour melted lead into the handlebars. Can't get more dense than that.
I tried to add some internal weight to the Rockster handlebars last night. No can do. Seems they have wires in there for the heated grips and some kind of weird internal threaded thingy that will not allow anything to be "poured" into the bars. No big deal as this twin spark boxer has just about no handlebar vibration.....
