Posts: 257 06/01/08 9:44 AM	Lot of Power.100hp,just like sitting on a snowmobile.the bike i rode had a Hindle pipe on it that produced a rasp(little bit on the loud side) Fit and Finish was excellent.ABS brakes stop very quickly and positive (all the braking is done with the right foot,there is no brake lever on the right handlebar). We did a little orientation,stop, start and then a three point turn.(reverse gear is easy to operate) At first i found the steering to be sensitive almost twitchy,but consider the linkage and think fourwheeler. Acceleration was impressive (could not get above third gear and doing 75mph) I could see these becoming a cult and racing them is not far away. They are selling at a good rate to all ages and styles. The Japanese version is probably going to appear soon. They start at $16k. (but like most toys a slightly used one could be had for a lot less) Try one out if you get the chance. Would i buy one? NO

I'm sure the ones we tried did not have power assisted steering that is advertised on the regular production bikes so driving one was a lot like a very large ATV. I had to really crank on the handlebars to get it to turn. The seating was comfortable and the transmission shifted easily with a really nifty gear indicator on one of the gauges. We were not allowed to try the reverse gear. It was demonstrated to us and the technician said it would do 17MPH in reverse. We were told before we left Roaring Brook Ranch that each of the machines we were riding that day were prototypes valued at $125.000.00 each. Gulp! The ride went up and down a very narrow twisty road with no shoulders, I really wanted to take it out on the nearby interstate. I asked to be placed last in the pack as I had not done any manual shifting for the 8 months prior to Americade. Sure enough I stalled it at the first stop sign. The sweeper told me to just keep it in third gear and not to bother with shifting. It pulled away from the stop easily in third gear. If I had the bucks I'd consider buying one after building a garage and filling the garage with a stable of bikes first.

You are either a Stoughton resident (who drank the Kool Aid) or merely delusional!! I will say that when they were in their OLD location, they HAD good pizza, but I have NEVER had a good pizza in their new location. I would MUCH rather go to the Lynwood in Randolph, or even the Union Villa in Easton (when they are on their game!!). PhacK PD SALES - NOT ONE BIKE ALIKE!! I agree with Both Phils, would I buy one NO, Old Town Spa pizza ya, good but yes not the new location. Try Leo's on 1A in Walpole and as far as the Red Wing goes, always a safe bet. So shall we talk about fried clams or motorcycles?
