Trying not to be redundant here, but just wanted to start a "clean thread" on the 2008 Pemi River Rally. First, this will be the only rally that I
will be able to attend due to other commitments this year. Been awhile since I have seen alot of you and it was good to catch up with everybody. Had a great
time!! I know that I will miss someone as my mind only remembers what it wants too now but Kurt,Craig, Pete M, Larry F all good taking over the traditions in a
fine manner. Good too see my old friends from the midwest riding Real BMWs all over the country, ya I'm going to break my old dogs out someday and Melissa
and I will tour in a "timely manner". All good from the weather, food, beverages, riding, and just plain hanging around and huge kudos to the
birthday boy!!! Thanks all, A real fine time!!!!

Damn Yankees rally won't be the same without You Boomer!
Doug does a bang-up job on the Scottish Trials and the gonzo off-road, deep into the woods ride. Who's gonna fill these huge boots?? Any volunteers? Step up Now so we don't miss a beat. This years Damn Yankees rally includes live entertainment by award winning singer/songwriter Jim Berkeley with special geusts "Rock the Silo" and maybe a seminar from a Nationally know motorcycle safety journalist. Rally pins have been ordered. Church ladies are at the ready to bake up some fresh home made blueberry pies. If you miss the Damn Yankees this year you'll regret it Big Time. As always, BE There! Ya, and I will really miss that weekend too. Always had a great ride in the local forests and permission to use private land for our ride. I'm sure
someone can carry the torch for that weekend. But, I will still be on a bike, racing closed gravel roads at speed in West Virginia is something that I must
do!!! Rally on people, Going for the big bike overall this year!!!!

Toy box is parked under the shed out in Heath ready to take on another rally. See ewe all there as this year the Sheepshagger will be turning the big 50 that
weekend.... We may have to party alittle harder this year. Be afraid very afraid. SS

I'm hoping that rally yahooing is judged on a bell curve, maybe some of us can sneak in under the clapper.
