And so it was that yesterday the stars of the Yankee Beemers assembled at RoyB's house to attend to business on my new F800 St. Anyone familiar with this process knows we were well attended to by Roy's grill, garage, and person

First thing I did was run the bike up onto the lift for surgery


This was straight forward, except that I was now parked next to this unspeakable thing! Hope my new bike didn't catch any cooties


We then proceeded to use typical hand tools that any of us would have in the garage to make items and such for the installation. Here is Roy making up a spool piece to allow the Ram Mount Ball to attach to the handlebar.

Mounting up the gps holder took four hands and several attempts


The bike was then properly denuded, stripped and prodded so as to pull wires and such from here to there, battery to ground, relay to switch.


We took full advantage of computer experts to supervise all wiring. This insures proper blessings from the altar of the CANBuss


You think we're kidding about wires? Here, Roy and Dave are pulling for all they're worth with some red shirt looking on!


This was also a social event. We had a good group of story tellers, old guys, young'uns, and foreigners. One brought this bike in just to give John Murray something to drool over:
