Posts: 732 07/22/08 1:06 PM Moderator	Through some intense negotiations we have convinced the Church Ladies to bake us up 22 of their Home Made Blueberry Pies for the rally. Woo Hoo! Trophies are being made for field events and Scottish Trials. Rally pins are ordered. Jim Berkeley is playing Sat Night fresh from a gig at the legendary Club Passim in Harvard Square. Volunteers are stepping up. (You should too) We need registration people. Tom Halchuck is bringing copious amounts of wine and a giant cauldron of Goulash. Arrangements are being made for a dual Sport ride to Jim Hoellerichs Spanish Motorcycle Museum. If someone steps up to cover for me, I'll lead a SAVANT rideon Saturday of my personal favorite roads. Have fun and be safe, dual sport ride captain, if you need any help before I leave I can get you maps and routes that I have lead in the past. Rally On!!!!!!

Baby last year and this year the festival I work for (gatheringofthevibes.com) is having it the same long weekend as Heath....gotta go where the money is so I can support my motorcycling.....and family of course. Every year I have gone rain or shine I have had the best of times, jamming with friends, picking up my GS in the woods, watching Ms. Sings swallow hot dogs (sorry she took your title away Melissa),..... oh the blueberry pie...YUM.....YUM....YUM! Let me throw out some incentives: Weather looks like the best projections in years. Fred Kolack has arranged the appearance of Special Guest Spealer Ken Condon, Published writer of Motorcycle Safety books, safety editor for Motorcycle Consumer News and contributing editor for AMA and other motorcycle magazines. You'll get edgumicated on all things safety related including a question & answere period. And, thanks to Alan Adie, owner of AJ's Cycle BMW on Rte 2 west in Gill, MA we will have a limited amount of Autographed books for sale from Kevin Cameron tech editor and feature writer of TDC {Top Dead Center/The Duct Tapes) for Cycle World magazine. I just got off the phone with Kevin and we had a wonderful nostalgic conversation of the old dirt floor motorcycle dealerships. Had he not had a previous engagement Kevin would be there at the rally himself. Kevin reminded me he's been to previous Damn Yankee rallys. I have my ear to the ground and I can hear the thunder of many hooves headed this way. This weekend just follow the BMW's headed west with camping gear strapped to back.
