HI AINT,
coupla things....there was a recent java update that may be one step beyond the capacity of this board. That said, Firefox seems to be OK with this when using
the board. As all Java updates should be backwards compatible, you might want to run the updater just be sure all the bits are in-synch and still interacting
nicely. I had a java issue where the java platform was not interacting with the browser correctly. The simple way to check if this is the case is to go to
http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/radar.php?rid=box&product=N0R&loop=yes if you mac can run this you should be OK. Note the java icon you get
when loading, an orange square with the word java in it is the new version, the old coffee cup is an older version. You might want to make sure safari and the
OSX are up to date as well.
I loaded my pics from the G-4 Ti book yesterday and it seemed OK. A bit tricky getting the pics on, but once you get it, not so bad.
Start with dragging a copy to your desktop- loads faster. then go to the message board (i know you're already there), click on the icon two to the left of
the yellow smily on the top bar. click create album. then click on upload, click browse, select pic then on upload. Now you have a pic in your album.
start a message, then when ready to insert you photo click on the icon, then the album then the pic (one click only) it should automatically insert the pic for
you.
I'd reccomend you upload firefox as this seems to do this seamlessly- MY PEE CEE at work is doing much of what you describe and i think it's an Iexp
issue...OH and you can't be signed in two computers with the same acct at the same time...causes errors too (just learned that this am).
If I can help you out more, let me know-
thanks

Ok- two seconds later i see an even easier way to upload pics- and it looks like this should be done before you create the message that uses it
(apparently true for all postings
start by signing in..ok that's obvious. then at the very top/left where it says 'welcome Bob Aint....@yankeebeemers, click on that. this brings you to your personal page. then at the very top line on the right it
says images. this brings you directly to your albums. you can add albums, add pics to albums and putz with the photo settings. then navigate back to the
message board and do your posting. when you click on the 'add image icon'
you will have your pic pre-loaded and ready to rock.
