Your suggestion about using a thread on this board for "letters to the Editor" makes a great deal of sense; I will employ it in future . . . simple enough.

Regarding Ain'ts observation, I believe many of my past private notes to Victor and Dana have been congratulatory for the fine over-all quality of particular issues and of their part in contributing to that success. Victor is too modest to place these kinds of comments in the Shorts.

With respect to my sailing, I have done little recently, and I must leave it up to that "Gentleman Biker and Attorney" to attend to the lashing of the troops as he overlooks their efforts from the comfort of either a poop deck or from a silken tent perched on a bluff - far removed from the tulmult raging below.

I look forward to seeing all at both the Green Mountain Rally and Wacky Hat. In between those events I plan another trip south before cooler weather sets in. John M.
