I live in RI, riding a 2004 1150RT to the Rally in Gillette. Plan to leave around 7/13 and looking for some company. Plan to motel and camp
if weather is good. Any interest for anybody?

Lots of folks will be heading out thataway.........But most are thinking about shipping their bikes either one way or both ways..........The mid (boring)
states can eat up a set of tires and burn two or three days just getting to the good parts................
But ride you should............I'm sure you'll find a few folks to tag along with. Good Luck!

Roy,
Is there a club sponsored air lift? If what are most people doing? I would love to ride out but time is an issue. |

I believe Don LaPierre is setting up a hauler to haul (Federal Transport). The price he reported was under $500 as long as he gets 18 bikes.
I'm sure he'll chime in here an fill us all in with the details.

Don did a lateral pass to me on March 1st. Phil Foster also did a lot of initial work on this project. Am in the middle of working on it right now... To
quote Mel Brooks from Blazing Saddles, "Work, Work, Work".
Trying to have the subject shaped up so as to be able to say a few words at the next breakfast meeting, and then follow up with a notice in April's Boxer Shorts. At about the time as this hits membership mailboxes, the same text will appear in a string on this discussion board. |
